Training Simulator

You must select a training simulator event that is 40 minutes after your museum admission. 

Youth tickets are not available for the training simulator. The minimum age for the training simulator is 12.

Forensics Camp

Forensic Detectives Summer Camp is a weeklong dive into the messy and meticulous world of forensic science. Students will engage in hands-on training in the basics of crime scene investigation from fingerprints to DNA, and toolmarks to trace. They will meet with professionals working in the field today and learn about the history of American law enforcement. This summer camp experience will provide participants with a greater understanding of forensic science, its role in the criminal justice system, and exposure to STEM-related careers in law enforcement.

Camp Information:

  • Ages: 11-14 years old
  • 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • $500/week per camper (full payment must be made at time of registration)
  • Scholarships available through Battelle for students in Title 1 schools
  • Location: BASIS Charter School, 410 8th Street NW Washington, D.C. 20004
